New windows and doors improve comfort, cut energy bills and add long-term value to your home. Westlight Windows San Diego pairs proven product lines with our own installing crews for lasting performance - and a price we put in writing.
Choose your installer
The unit is half the job - the install is the other half. Our own background-checked crews measure, set, seal and insulate every opening, and they know the lines we quote inside and out because they install them every week.
Select the right products
Compare styles, materials and glass packages side by side until the fit is right for your rooms, your budget and your goals. The product-line comparison below is the place to start.
Prepare your home for install
Before install day we walk you through a short checklist - furniture pulled back, treatments down, a clear path to each opening - so install day is watch-it-happen, not scramble.
Compare the Lines We Quote
Every project is priced on the same lines, side by side - the price indicators below are relative, and your consultant shows exact numbers on your actual openings.

Meet the San Diego Team Behind Westlight Windows San Diego
Windows and doors fail in ways that are deeply specific to coastal San Diego. Salt air eats at aluminum frames in Point Loma. Marine layer moisture finds its way into old wood sashes in Mission Hills. Intense afternoon sun bakes west-facing glass in Clairemont until seals give out. Our crew has seen all of it, fixed all of it, and figured out which products actually hold up block by block. We are not a rotating cast of subs. The people who measure your windows are the people who install your windows. That continuity is the whole point.
Our People
Owen Satterfield, Owner
Owen founded Westlight Windows San Diego in 2009, and he still walks job sites every week. Before windows, he spent years in residential construction, which is where he developed his distaste for vague quotes and rushed workmanship. He picked the name Westlight for what it describes: the late-afternoon sun that pours through a good window, bright and warm and worth doing right. Owen is the one who insists on the Kingswell Guarantee structure: written price before work starts, a real arrival window, a clean job site, and a written guarantee on every single job. If a customer calls with a concern, Owen wants to hear about it directly. He would rather fix a problem the same week than let it sit for a month.
Marco V., Lead Technician
Marco has been hanging windows in San Diego since 2011. He is PGT and CGI certified for impact-rated installations, which matters more than most people realize. An impact window only performs if the frame anchoring and fastening schedule are exactly right, and Marco can tell you the correct fastener pattern for a stucco wall in North Park versus a wood-frame wall in Kensington without looking at a chart. He is the guy who figures out the hard retrofits: tight clearances, out-of-square openings, second-story access. Off the clock, Marco rebuilds vintage motorcycles and brings the same patience to trim work that he brings to a carburetor.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena joined the team in 2015 after years building custom homes in East County. She specializes in door installation, particularly Therma-Tru entry systems with sidelites, where a 1/16-inch framing error turns into a door that binds every summer. Elena handles most of our full-frame window replacements, the jobs where the old window comes all the way out and the new one gets flashed and sealed from the rough opening. She is known among the crew for keeping the cleanest work zone on every job, which is less about tidiness and more about professionalism: no debris left in your flower beds, no old caulk smeared on your stucco. Elena teaches a ceramics class in Barrio Logan on weekends.
Dana K., Service Coordinator
Dana is the voice on the phone when you call (619) 793-3829. She has been with Westlight since 2018 and knows the product lines cold: which glass packs fit which frames, what lead times look like for PGT versus ECO Window Systems, and when a job truly needs a second visit versus a simple adjustment. Dana runs scheduling with a rule that Owen insists on: every customer gets a real arrival window, not a vague “sometime Thursday.” If a technician is running behind, Dana calls before the customer has to call us. She grew up in Ocean Beach and still surfs most mornings before work, which means she understands exactly how much wind noise a cheap window lets into a beach bungalow.
One Standard, Every Job
Westlight operates as an independently owned and operated Kingswell location, which means our San Diego crew follows the same four promises every Kingswell shop makes. We call it the Kingswell Way: say the price before the work, show up in the window we gave, leave the place cleaner than we found it, and put the guarantee in writing. Every job also carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If the work is not right within the guarantee period, we come back and fix it at no charge. And if a repair fails, the second visit is free too, automatically, no negotiating required. Those promises only mean something because the people making them are accountable to you by name. Marco’s install gets Marco’s follow-up. Elena’s door gets Elena’s attention if it binds. Owen signs off on every guarantee card. That is the standard, and it does not change whether we are replacing one window in a La Jolla condo or thirty in a Del Cerro remodel.
If you want to know who will show up at your door, call Dana at (619) 793-3829. She will schedule a free estimate, and the person who measures your home will be one of the people named on this page.
